Junior High
Our Junior High group will be meeting every Tuesday evening from 7pm-8:30pm at “The Corner,” the unofficial name for the PBC Willow Glen offices. General mayhem and fun will ensue and once the dust settles, we will be engaging in various Bible studies. One of our goals is to have students begin memorizing verses of Scripture so that they may be better equipped to be ambassadors of Christ to others in their lives. All students in high school (or entering high school) are invited to our Thursday Night Coffee House, where we will be examining various world religions, their beliefs and texts, and how they are like/unlike Christianity. These meetings will also take place at The Corner from 7pm-9pm. There will be games, snacks, beverages, and of course, terrific fellowship. Get the Flyer
Summer Film Fest
Finally, all junior and senior high school students are invited to our Summer Film Fest! Be prepared to see movies like you’ve never seen them before! We will be watching various movie classics with a theological lens so that we may learn about ourselves and the society in which we live while enjoying terrific films. These movie nights will be headed up by Nate and Lindsay Marshall, teachers at Valley Christian High School and will run from 6pm-10pm. Disclaimer: two of the movies are PG-13 (Deja Vu and Batman Begins) due to “action-packed” themes. Parents, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
