Be A Branch - Abiding In Christ, John 15There are many truths and lessons in God’s Word that teach us how to live life and follow the Lord Jesus. During our time together, Annie will focus on the lesson of walking closely to the Lord, coming from the book of John, chapter 15. Annie will share her story with us, and will use her artwork and the scriptures hidden within, to point us to Jesus, and open up the precious treasure and key of “Abiding in Christ.”
About our speaker: Annie LaPoint has a desire to help women walk close to the Lord, which springs out of her own deep need and dependency on God. Through the years of raising 3 children with her husband Ken, Annie also cared for her elderly mother, Judy, in their home for 12 1/2 years. In 2006 she walked through cancer with her own son Daniel, and her sister Jody. This journey and these trials are how God taught Annie the precious truth of abiding in Christ. Annie is a published artist and her work can be seen on all kinds of products for the home and garden. She hides a scripture reference in every one of her paintings, which is how she gives each piece back to the Lord, who is the “Greatest Artist of All.” Annie and Ken have been married 28 years, and attend MPPC’s Open Door in San Mateo, CA.
